Most macys.com items can be returned by mail, with original proof of purchase, within 180 days of purchase. Read items with special guidelines for information about return restrictions.
Returning an item
Fill out the return form on the front of the invoice, indicating item(s) being returned and the reason(s) for the return.
Securely pack the merchandise and ship to macys.com via US Postal Service or UPS using the enclosed pre-addressed shipping label (print another shipping label). Remember to insure your package. Please note, we have included a prepaid shipping label in your package to make it easy to return your item(s) by mail. Please be aware that the return shipping and handling fee may be deducted from the amount of your credit.
Please allow 7-10 business days for the return transit time via UPS or USPS. Plus an additional 7 business days upon receipt, for the return to be completed and the refund to be issued to your account.

Exchanging an item Fill out the return form on the front of the invoice, indicating item(s) being returned and the reason(s) for the return. Then fill out the exchange form on the back of the invoice indicating the items you'd like in exchange. Securely pack the merchandise and ship to macys.com via US Postal Service or UPS using the enclosed pre-addressed shipping label (print another shipping label). Remember to insure your package. We'll process your exchange within 7 business days of receipt, and you will not be charged shipping on the exchange. If the requested exchange item is not available, you will receive credit to the original form of payment. Merchandise credits will be issued for gifts. If you paid with a gift card, the debited amount will be returned in the form of a new gift card. Note: only items purchased on macys.com may be exchanged by mail.
