Terms and Conditions

1. Enrollment:
Participation in Macy's Thanks For Sharing Program (the "Program") and Program benefits are offered at Macy's sole discretion. Program participation begins on the date you authorize charging the $25 enrollment fee to your Macy's Star Rewards Credit Account ("Enrolled Account") and ends on December 31, 2008. Beginning on September 20, 2008, you may enroll at any Macy's store, on macys.com or by phone at 888-933-6229. Macy's will make a $10 donation for each Enrolled Account. Donations will be made to the following charities: American Heart Association's Go Red For Women,* Make-A-Wish Foundation®, Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, Big Brothers Big SistersTM, March of Dimes®, Feeding AmericaTM, local Boys and Girls Clubs, American Red Cross, Girl Scouts®, and Salvation Army.

2. Eligibility:
Only Macy's Star Rewards Credit Account cardholders are eligible to enroll. The enrollment fee must be charged to a Macy's Star Rewards Credit Account. Paying the fee in any other manner will not enroll you in the Program. If you have more than one Macy's Star Rewards Credit Account, only the account(s) charged an enrollment fee will be enrolled in the Program and will earn Rewards. Only consumer accounts may be enrolled. Corporate and Studio Services accounts may not be enrolled. Macy's Options Visa® accounts are not eligible. A participant's multiple account types, such as revolving, major purchase and club account types, will be linked for Reward calculation purposes only. Rewards may not be transferred or combined for multiple Enrolled Accounts. Employees and retirees of Macy's, Inc. and its affiliates are not eligible.

3. Termination of or Change in Program:
Enrollment constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any attempt to manipulate or abuse the Program may result in termination of enrollment and forfeiture of the enrollment fee and accumulated or already issued Rewards. Rewards earnings will be forfeited if your Enrolled Account is closed by us, or is delinquent, in default, or otherwise in violation of the Macy's Credit Card Agreement(s) as amended from time to time on the date when your Rewards are calculated. Macy's has the right to reduce the value of a Thanks For Sharing Rewards Card if Rewards-earning items are returned. If Rewards-earning items are returned and the value on the Thanks For Sharing Rewards Card has already been used, you agree that Macy's may charge the amount of your unearned Rewards to your Macy's Enrolled Account. Macy's reserves the right to disqualify any person from participation in the Program if, in Macy's sole judgment, that person appears to be using the Program in violation of these Terms and Conditions, or in a manner that is inconsistent with the intent of the Program or has done so in the past. Macy's reserves the right to limit, modify, delete or otherwise change these rules, terms and conditions of the Program at its sole discretion with or without notice. All interpretations of these Terms and Conditions shall be at the sole discretion of Macy's, whose decisions will be final. You may request a refund of the enrollment fee by calling 888-933-6229 before December 10, 2008, or in person at any Macy's store before December 31, 2008. By doing so, you will terminate your enrollment and forfeit accumulated Rewards.

4. Earning Rewards:
Rewards are calculated at 10% of Net Purchases of Eligible Merchandise. "Eligible Merchandise" consists of purchases of merchandise made on an Enrolled Account at a Macy's store, on macys.com or macysweddingchannel.com, or by a Macy's mail and phone order, but excludes the $25 enrollment fee, furniture, floor coverings, mattresses, box springs, fur salon, bridal salon, gift cards/certificates, electronics, special orders, watch/jewelry repair, sunglasses, custom decorating, carpet cleaning and other non-merchandise-related services, service and delivery fees, gift-wrap, sales tax, purchases from licensed departments, bill inserts and restaurants, as well as all purchases made outside of Macy's. "Net Purchases" are purchases of Eligible Merchandise made from your enrollment date through December 31, 2008, less all returns, discounts and adjustments posted to your account from your enrollment date through January 5, 2009, even if the returned item was purchased prior to your enrollment.

5. Distribution of Rewards:
Rewards, in the form of a Macy's Reward Card, will be mailed beginning February 2009 through March 2009. A Reward Card will be mailed to each participant at the address shown in Macy's records. If a participant's billing address of record is in CA, CT, HI, IL, KS, LA, MA, MD, ME, MN, MT, ND, NH, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, RI, VT or WA, a non-expiring Reward Card will be issued. All other Reward Cards will be issued with an expiration date of June 21, 2009. Reward Cards may not be exchanged for cash or applied as a payment or credit on any Macy's credit card account. Additional value may not be added to a Reward Card.

6. Change of Address:
You are responsible for advising Macy's, in writing, of any change in your name or address. Failure to ensure that Macy's has your current address may prevent issuance/receipt of the Reward Card. Macy's is not liable for Reward Cards sent to the wrong address. Correspondence should be mailed to Macy's, P.O. Box 8050, Mason, OH 45040.
